getting married
Posted by  Lisa on December 29, 2008
I just read my post about RNT readers having to pay for full access to online access & it kind of looked \'snitty\' so I wanted to add something. Actually, we might \'consider\' it (I\'m not sure how much the subscription is) but my husband is one of the many in the rank of Floyd countians who became laid off this year (the beginning of August) for the first time. He\'s never been & at the age of 55, an RNT subscription is an expense we couldn\'t afford right now. Just seeing how it \'looked\' after it posted sounded kind of \'rude\' of me.

Louise & Rebecca, We found that only a few of the Funeral Homes list their own personal memorial tributes on their on sites. The ones that do (funeral homes that do have websites) have beautiful memorials but you have to find their website links to get to the individual obit. I think it would be nice to honor those who we loose too. Hope this info helps. Thing is I think RNT wants us to pay for online subscription maybe to see it (we wont).

Yes it is TOO BAD that you can\'t post the obits in full, just as you do the wedding announcements.....TOO BAD !

Enjoy reading the Rome News despite the fact I live in Atlanta. Great HomeTown Paper.
