– The Gray City Council meets the first Monday of each month at the D. V. Childs Civic Center at 6:00 p.m.

– The Jones County High School Softball Booster Club meets the first Monday of each month in the high school lunchroom at 6:30 p.m.

– Middle Georgia Chapter 1051 of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) meets the second Monday of each month at Elaine’s Family Restaurant, 1057 South Wayne Street in Milledgeville, at 11:30 a.m.

– The Jones County Kiwanis Club meets every Tuesday in the fellowship hall of Gray Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m.

– The Jones County High School Band Boosters meet the first Tuesday of each month in the band room at 7:00 p.m.

– The Jones County Board of Commissioners meets the first and third Tuesday of each month in the Charlotte C. Wilson Conference Room at 6:00 p.m.

– The Old Capital Car Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at the IHOP, Wal-Mart Market Central, 2598 North Columbia Street in Milledgeville, at 6:30 p.m. for dinner, followed by the meeting at 7:30 p.m. All auto enthusiasts are invited to attend. – The Exchange Club of Jones County meets every Wednesday at the Landfall at Porter clubhouse at noon.

– The Pioneer Club of New Hope Baptist Church meets every Wednesday at the church at 7:00 p.m. for youth of all ages, and all are invited to attend.

– The local Rotary Club meets every Thursday at the Landfall at Porter clubhouse at noon.

– Sincerity Lodge #430 meets the first and third Thursday of each month. The first Thursday’s meeting time is 7:30 p.m., and the third Thursday’s meeting is at 7:30 p.m., with supper served at 6:30 p.m.

– The Jones County Diabetes Support Group meets the second Thursday of each month in the conference room of Gray United Methodist Church from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. The community is invited to attend.

– The Haddock Community Action Program meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are held on Highway 22 in Haddock, the second building on the right at the caution light.

– The Jones County Lions Club meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

– Edward Dorr Tracy Camp 18 meets the fourth Thursday of each month at the Fresh Air BBQ, just off of Riverside Drive. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. and visitors are welcome. For more information, please contact Commander Earl Colvin, 986-3500 or Michael Beeland, 972-9590.

– Kema’s Hobby hosts Camp Fire Circle Story Time the second Saturday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; free books and crafts; ages 6 and under. Kema’s Hobby is located at 109 Atlanta Road/Highway 11 in Gray.
