Fred Seabrooks, Sr., 60, of Milledgeville, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007. Graveside services were held Monday, April 2, at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.

Mr. Seabrooks was born March 12, 1947, in James to the late Willie Seabrooks and Nettie Middlebrooks Seabrooks. He was a graduate of Maggie Califf High School and a truck mechanic. He was in the U.S. Army for 12 years and honorably served his country in Vietnam.

Mr. Seabrooks is survived by his wife, Linda Huff Seabrooks of Austin, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Fred, Jr. and RaShawn Seabrooks of Macon, and Wilfred and Tammy Seabrooks of Macon; sister, Frances Seabrooks Brown of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Trey Farley, Kelly Seabrooks and Kiambra Seabrooks; and a great-niece, Shirley Ann Jackson of Fulton, N.Y.

Bridges Funeral Home in Gray had charge of arrangements.
