The Houston County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Unit and Houston County Sheriffs Response Team, according to a release, executed a drug search warrant at 109 Latham Drive Apartment 57 (Lakeshore Apartments) Wednesday at around 3:20 p.m.
As a result, the units seized a quantity of crystal ice (methamphetamine) and arrested two subjects.
According to the release, the Narcotics Unit executed the warrant after several weeks of investigating the sell of methamphetamine from the apartment.
During the course of the investigation, investigators conducted undercover drug buys from the apartment. The investigation was launched after the narcotics unit received information that the resident was selling illegal drugs to high school students, according to the release.
Elijah James Singleton, 23, and Amber Gayle Mander, 20, both of Warner Robins were two arrested. They were charged with VGCSA Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, VGCSA Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, VGCSA Possession of methamphetamine and marijuana within 1,000 feet of a public school, and Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Investigators seized a quantity of crystal ice (estimated street value more than $1,500), a small quantity of marijuana (packaged to be distributed), scales, bags, other items used to distribute illegal drugs and a firearm inside the apartment.
Both subjects are being held at the Houston County Jail in Perry without bond on the charges.
