FORT VALLEY – Randy A. Burgess, 50, entered into rest on Sunday, May 25, 2008.
Mr. Burgess was born on January 31, 1958 in Macon. A former coach, grounds keeper and board member of WRALL, he was employed by Perdue Farms as a Diesel Mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith. His parents, Frank Ray Burgess and Catherine Harrison Burgess, preceded him in death.
His memory will be forever treasured by his wife, Ginger Burgess, Fort Valley; sons, Shannon (Jennifer) Burgess, Justin Burgess, and Dylan Burgess, all of Fort Valley; sisters, Judy (Al) Perry, Bonaire; Becky (Jerry) Killian, Warner Robins; Diane (Donnie) O’Brien, Perry; five nieces and six nephews; father-in- law, Richard T. Cook, Gray, and mother-in-law, Carmolene H. Cook, Unadilla; sisters-in-law, Vickie (James) Davis and Cathy (Donald) Flickinger; and brothers-in-law John and Chris Cook.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 29, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
