SMYRNA - Martha Susan “Missy” Maggard, 54, passed away of natural causes Saturday, May 24, 2008. A memorial service was held Friday, May 30, 2008 at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Eggleston, 1405 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30322.
Missy was born in Ft. Valley to the late Elwood and Ruby Johnson Maggard. She was a 1972 graduate of The Westfield School in Perry, and was a Buyer for Home Depot. Her charming, friendly presence will be missed by many.
Survivors include her brothers, Brack (Donna) Maggard of Eatonton, Gary Maggard (Sandy) of Los Altos, Calif., and Mark Maggard (Tina) of Hope Hull, Alabama; and a nephew, Spencer Maggard (Jill) of Roswell. Please sign the online register at watsonhunt.com.
