n HOGANITES REUNION – “The Hoganites,” surviving U.S. Navy crew members of USS Hogan DMS 6 will hold a reunion April 17-19, with their headquarters at the Perry Holiday Inn. Jimmy Abrams of Perry, an organizer of the event, said that the ship’s crew participated in World War II invasion in Iwo Jima, New Guina,North Africa, the Marshall and Marianas Islands and the Phillippine Islands.
