Jewell Robinson

Jewell D. Robinson, a resident of St. Louis, Mo., died Feb. 18, at her home. She was 84.

Services were Feb. 25, at Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis, with Bishop Arthur L. Kelley officiating.

Survivors include three daughters, Carlene Wynn of South Fulton and Bobrie Hite of Huntsville, Ala. and Regina Russell of Petersburg, Va.; three sons, Kenneth and Keith Robinson of St. Louis; Bruce Robinson of Marshall, Texas; two stepsons, Charlie Robinson of St. Louis and Jacob Robinson of Marshall, Texas; her stepmother, Irene Bransford of St. Louis; a stepsister, Betty Brown-Neal of St. Louis; a half-sister, Margaret Davis of St. Louis; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Onnie Lee Gordon; her second husband, Charlie Robinson; two sons, Earl Gordon and James Gordon; and her parents, Carl Bransford and Oleen Bowman.

She was born Dec. 20, 1925, and lived briefly in Benton Arbor, Mich. She later moved to St. Louis, where she worked and retired from Wagner Electric Corp.
