Madge Nanney Conner, of South Fulton, died March 15 at Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center, Dresden, Tenn. She was 92.
Funeral service were March 16 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Weakley County, Tenn. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Annette Parnell of Cambridge, Ohio; one son, James Jim Conner of Brentwood, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Larry Parnell of Dublin, Ohio, Joe Parnell of Haines, Alaska, Penny Parnell of Cambridge, Ohio, Alex Conner of Brentwood, Tenn., Chad Conner of Nashville, Tenn.; three great- grandchildren, Kelly Parnell, Brandy Simpson and Ryan Parnell; and one sister, Ruth Mortimer of Silver Springs, Md.
She was preceded in death, by her husband, Milburn Burke Conner; her parents, Flarra Felts and James Burnette Pomp Nanney, and several brothers and sisters. She was born March 9, 1918 in Weakley County, Tenn. She was a lifetime member of the New Hope Methodist Church, and was a retired employee of the former Merit Clothing Company in Martin, Tenn. amd Mayfield. She had been a member of the D.A.R., Eastern Star and the Homemakers Club. She had lived in this area all of her life.
