George Wesley Pritchard, a resident of Mayfield, died Nov. 21, at his residence. He was 92.
Services were Nov. 24 at Byrn Chapel in Mayfield with Revs. Cody Pritchard, Jonas Taylor and Larry J. Salmon officiating. Burial was in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. Military Graveside Rites were conducted by the American Legion Post #26, Byrn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Lock Pritchard, Mayfield, to whom he was married for 70 years; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Salmon of Farmington; one sister, Mignon Powell of Dundalk, Md.
He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Mayfield and a was retired executive with Kroger Grocery Company. He was a WWII veteran having served with the 8th Army Air Corp in European Theater.
