Clovis Latham, a resident of Fulton, died Nov. 19, at Obion County Nursing Home in Union City, Tenn. She was 89.
Services were Nov. 21 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, with Revs. Gerald Barnes and Scott Ballard officiating. Burial was in Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City, Tenn. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Edmaiston and June Dean, both of Fulton, and Janice Hill of Dresden, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren, 35 great- grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie B. Billy Latham, Sept. 21, 1993; her parents, Dave and Hester Nola Yates Hainline; two sons, Gary Latham and Tony Latham; two brothers; one sister and a granddaughter.
Born Sept. 12, 1920 in Fulton County, she was a member of the Water Valley Baptist Church. She worked as an Oiler for the IC Railroad in East St. Louis, Mo. during WWII and was a seamstress at the former H.I.S. in South Fulton. She had lived most of her life in this community.
