Luvern Ross, of Fulton, died Oct. 24, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton. She was 81.
Services were Oct. 31 at the Bells Chapel Church in Fulton, with Rev. Eric McKinney officiating. Burial was in Greenlea Cemetery. Strong Funeral Home of Hickman was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include four sons, Charlie Robinson of St. Louis, Mo., Jacob Robinson of Marshall, Tex., Marshall Duke and Rubin Duke of Fulton; two daughters, Lylia (Sally) Alexander of South Fulton and Pamela Ross of Fulton; two sisters, Ellaweese Howard, Chicago, Ill., and Thelma Smith of South Fulton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, E. Ross and Ethel Ross; one son, Reese Robinson; and one brother, Eldridge Barnes.
She was born Sept. 8, 1928 in South Fulton. She was a member of Bells Chapel C.M.E. Church.
