Brantferd C. McClure, Sr., a resident of Fulgham, died Oct. 31, at his home. He was 93.
Services were Nov. 3, at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton, with the Rev. Bobby Barnett officiating. Burial was in Clark Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include eight sons, Richard D., Phillip W., James, Junior, and Lonnie Joe McClure, all of Fulgham, Robert Butch and Ronald McClure, both of Mayfield, Bill McClure of Wingo; four daughters, Bennette Atwill of Cayce, Lou Ella Robert of Columbus, Shelia Coltharp Oliver of Mayfield, Nancy Ballard of Farmington; four brothers, Robert M. McClure of Linton, Ind., Bill McClure of Wingo, Wesley and Franklin D. McClure, both of Fulgham; three sisters, Louise Henley of Columbus, Alpha Mae Tate and Betty Breedlove, both of Fulgham; 38 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, nine step-great grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Jackson McClure; a brother; three sisters; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. His parents were Lennie and Lou Annie Bradley McClure.
He was a member of the Jacksons Chapel Community Church and was a retired Hickman County Deputy Sheriff. He was a member of the Hickman County Masonic Lodge F&AM 131 and the Fulton York Rites.
