Harriett Lorene Crumble Weatherspoon, a resident of Clinton, died Oct. 17 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. She was 96.
Funeral Services are Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. at Green Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene McDonald officiating. Visitation will be Oct. 24 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Clinton Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Willis Weatherspoon of Griffith, Ind., and James Franklin Weatherspoon of Hickman; 16 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill Dooley” Weatherspoon; her parents, John and Lula Bell Yarbro Crumble; four sons, William Weatherspoon, Arnail Weatherspoon, Bobby Weatherspoon and Thomas Weatherspoon.
She was a member of Green Valley Missionary Baptist Church and a housekeeper at Clinton-Hickman County Hospital and ICF.
