Peggy Ruth Brooks, a resident of Pilot Oak and Cuba community, died June 9 at Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray. She was 78.
Services were June 13 at Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom, Tenn., with Rev. Rick Walker officiating and burial was in Cuba Cemetery. Jackson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Stanford Brooks; and her parents, Thurmon and Lorene Sisk Yates.
She was born May 28, 1931 in Graves County. She was a homemaker and had lived in this area since 1988 moving from Peoria, Ill.
