Billy Joe Forrest, a resident of Fulton, died April 5, at Martin Healthcare Center in Martin, Tenn. He was 78.
Services were April 8, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, with burial in Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton.
Survivors include two sons, David Forrest of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Jere J. Forrest of Germantown, Tenn.; a daughter, Lisa Stephenson of Collierville, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Diane Reid, also of Collierville; six grandchildren; two step- grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Jane Morgan of Fulton and Virginia Moran of Bowling Green; two brothers, Jack Forrest of South Fulton and Charlie Forrest of Memphis, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, N.B. Bones and Wilma (Tibbs) Forrest; a brother, Jerry Forrest; and a stepson, Steve Sullivan.
Born July 13, 1927 in Fulton, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a retired salesman.
