TCMO holiday auction underway

The Twin Cities Mens Organization (TCMO) is set to run the annual auction to raise money for Christmas food baskets and clothing local children, Nov. 24-28 from 6-8 p.m., and on Nov. 29 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The auction will air live on WFUL radio, and on NewWave Communication local channel 15. Items up for auction range from baked goods, home made items, and donations by merchants. This year’s goal is to raise $15,000. “Even if it’s just a dollar, every penny helps,” said Mike Akers, president of TCMO. Akers said, baskets will include items for the refri...
