A looper is a digital recorder in a foot pedal, and can be a valuable tool for educators. Accompaniment can easily be created so the instructor isn't playing an instrument, but focusing on the student's performance. A student can quickly hear his playing to get an objective critique. Whether used in an instructor/student setting or by the student alone, a looper can be a valuable learning tool. The Rang III looper is the easiest to use and one of the most powerful on the market, and it's made in Texas.
Version V0.5 has been released and is now shipping. Check our website for details: The Rang III can record in true stereo (or mono), has over 17½ minutes of recording time in mono and 4 independent loops that can be played sequentially.
After a loop is recorded, additional layers or parts can be added. The last layer can be silenced, played or re-recorded.
The user can assign a number of interesting and useful functions to 2 of the foot buttons, which offers a degree of customization not found on other loopers. The functions are: Stack, Erase, Once, Octave, Reverse, Reverse Solo, Play-Stop All, Fade, Undo/Redo, Copy and Loop 4.
The Rang III is as easy to operate and intuitive as the Rang Plus, but it is deeper if you want to explore the new features.
There are two selectable sample rates, 48 or 24KHz, our converters are 24 bit and we use no compression. The all new hardware has a noise floor of approximately -104dB (20Hz-20KHz).
A variety of signal routing options are available and the III is about half the size of the Rang Plus and has a lower list price! Please visit our website at Boomerang Music
