Program Review Crime Prevention Program - Daryl Pearson Exchange Club members listened to a presentation from Washington State Crime Prevention Association Executive Director Daryl Pearson highlighting steps being taken in Walla Walla to reduce crime. The area crime prevention office has been housed at the Blue Mountain Mall for the past eight years. Pearson said the Washington State Crime Prevention Association offers $1 million dollars in in-kind services, has a modern website with helpful information and offers training programs for state law enforcement officials and community members. Pearson called on Exchange Club members to serve as contacts for our community to support the “United Against Crime Prevention” program. He said community members play key roles in reducing crime. From block watch programs to properly securing personal property, Pearson said we can all make a difference. Pearson encouraged members to visit the association website at: http://www.wscp.innw.com
