Convention Drawing Scott Morasch and Bob Bennett both drew white balls and received $5 each. Next week the orange ball will be worth $75.

Program Review Holiday Lunch - No Program Scheduled Since this was the Presidents Day Holiday, our attendance was low. We anticipated this and decided not to schedule a formal program.

The 26 members in attendance enjoyed a nice lunch of petite steaks and/or manicotti and time to visit with other members at their tables.

College Rodeo The College Rodeo is only a week away. Jay Broughton still has a few places to fill on the work schedule, especially on Sunday March 2. If you can help out give Jay a call at 529-1772. The program next week will be with the Rodeo Team. Ed George reminded all that unused ticket and money for ticket sales need to be turn in by the Monday, March 3 meeting.

Food Drive The Food Drive is under way. Next week’s meeting, Feb. 24, will be the last day of our competition with Rotary. Therefore, please bring some heavy food items. You may recall the best item for the food bank are canned meals (ravioli, stew, etc.), canned fruit, jelly/jam, and macaroni and cheese. Bags of rice and beans are also good. Let’s see if we can beat Rotary this year. To date, we have collected more than 2,500 pounds.

Future Programs College Rodeo • Monday, February 24 Meet this year’s rodeo team as coach G.L. Longgood tells us what to expect at the upcoming College Rodeo.

NOTE! The first meeting of each month at Reed Center on Whitman Campus. If this change is well received, board officers may move all the meetings to the Reid Center. Direct comments to board officers.
