Program Review Officer of the Quarter - State Patrol Officer Chris Holt Congratulations to Washington State Patrol Officer Chris Holt for being named Officer of the Quarter. Holt has been a state patrol officer for five years. He began his career in Vancouver, Washington before moving to Walla Walla three years ago. Officer Holt is known for his cheerful and positive attitude and is a member of the team’s bomb squad. He said being a state patrol officer is a profession; ‘not just a job.’ He is a leader in Driving Under the Influence enforcement and is rated number one in this region for violator contact stops. Or as Cliff Carlson put it during his introduction of Officer Holt; “he pulls over more people than any other officer.” Holt also is a community volunteer. He helped build a playhouse for a three-year-old child with cancer and also played a key role in fund-raising for this project. Officer Holt is married and has two young children.
