Program Review Colleges in our Valley Tom Cronin, President of Whitman College, Steve VanAusdle, President of Walla Walla Community College, and Ginger Ketting-Weller, Vice President for Academic Administration, of Walla Walla College, presented information about their schools to Exchange Club members. Although each school offers different educational opportunities, the message of helping young people better themselves through higher education was a common thread in all the presentations. The colleges also help provide a stable economic force in Walla Walla.

Youth of the Month Spotlight Anna Froese and Dustin Smith of Waitsburg High School were named the Exchange Club of Walla Walla Youth of the Month students for the month of December.

This year’s Youth of the Month/Year Essay Theme: “America’s Young Patriots—Believing and Achieving for a Better America” These students will also be eligible to compete for the Exchange Club of Walla Walla Youth of the Year Awards and special $1,000 college scholarships.

Future Programs Christmas Party • December 16 Celebrate the holidays with Exchange Club members during the annual Christmas Party. Get a kick out of all the kids as they get an upclose look at Santa and all his special helpers.
