Program Review Walla Walla Symphony - Russ Martin Russ Martin of the Walla Walla Symphony presented a historical overview of the symphony and highlighted upcoming musical events. Since 1907, the Walla Walla Symphony has provided Walla Walla residents and surrounding communities with a venue for professional musical entertainment. The Walla Walla Symphony features approximately 80 musicians. These talented artists work throughout our region as educators, doctors, college students and in other professional settings. They spend hundreds of hours each year practicing and playing live to packed concert halls. Walla Walla community members are also treated each year to musical sounds from around the world during the annual “Adventure” concert series. These international musicians celebrate a host of cultural backgrounds and play an array of instruments. Walla Walla Symphony concert ticket prices range from $10 to $20 for single admission. Season tickets are also available. For more information, visit the Walla Walla Symphony web site at: wwsymphony.com

Children’s Christmas Party Don’t miss the annual Exchange Club Christmas party, Monday, Dec. 16 at noon. Santa and his helpers will be busy taking photos and asking the kids (big and small) if they have been naughty or nice.
Ducky Derby Volunteers Although still several months away, volunteers are needed now to help organize the annual Ducky Derby fund-raiser. This popular community event helps the Exchange Club donate thousands of dollars to local organizations to help curb child abuse. Please contact Sheri Dickson-Hodge at 525-1300 if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
Member Spotlight Forms Several club members have not completed Member Spotlight forms. This well received feature of the Exchange Club newsletter relies on input from membership to exist. Please take time to complete a form and return it to Editor Mark Higgins as soon as possible. For additional forms, call Higgins at 526-6716.
