Program Review Blue Mountain Community Foundation - Lawson Knight Blue Mountain Community Foundation Executive Director Lawson Knight told Exchange Club members his organization is committed to improving quality of life for our community members. As a local charitable giving vehicle, Blue Mountain Community Foundation gifts hundreds of thousands of dollars to local needs each year. Knight said personalized service, local expertise and community leadership available through the Blue Mountain Community Foundation offers Walla Wallans an excellent way to give. With more than 100 funds and $16.2 million in assets, the foundation continues to grow. It was originally founded in 1984 as the Blue Mountain Area Foundation. The foundation provides funds to the homeless, social services, education, health needs, historic preservation, youth activities and the arts.
