Program Review The Pajama Game comes to Walla Walla! Linda Hardy, Director of Resource Development at Walla Walla Community College, provided club members with an overview of Walla Walla’s upcoming summer musical. She said the former Tony Award winning Broadway play promises to be a hit.

What’s The Pajama Game? The play takes place at the fictional Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The play highlights workers’ efforts to get a 7 1/2 cents per hour raise. There’s also a cute love story which is sure to provide laughs!

Performance dates July 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27

Club Announcements

Dues Increase • Exchange Club of Walla Walla dues will increase from $80 to $90 per quarter. This slight increase will help offset rising lunch costs.

Donation received • Northwest Quarter Horse Association donated $1,120 to the Exchange Club of Walla Walla.

Fair Volunteer Opportunities • Sign-up sheets are now being distributed for the Walla Walla Fair. Numerous volunteers are needed to staff the Exchange Club booth. This is an outstanding fund raiser for the club and a lot of fun!

Future Programs

July 15 - Meeting • Jeffrey Townsend of Coffey Communications will showcase tools currently available in Walla Walla for video production.

July 22 - Meeting • Whitman College’s Brian Dohe discusses National Public Radio.
