MyWebPal is making an important upgrade in the Weather Service we provide to you.

Effective February 28 we will be moving to an exciting new service called WeatherBug. As weather emergencies seem to become more severe we believe it is necessary to offer weather that features improved information, more frequent updates and severe weather warnings delivered direct to the computers of your staff and even direct to your readers. We will provide additional information concerning how to activate and promote these features.

The weather to your newspaper's website will be updated every two (2) seconds.

Your readers can also download a script to deliver warnings to their desktop.

WeatherBug manages and operates the world’s largest proprietary weather network, with more than 8,000 WeatherBug Tracking Stations located across the country in neighborhoods and towns where people live, work, and play.

As part of this upgrade we are also providing an important new innovation, developed by MyWebPal, which allows you to provide emergency preparedness information to your readers linked right to your newspapers website.

You can check it out, and learn more about this exciting, information filled RUPrepared Emergency Preparedness Website. This is the link: RUPrepared.com

We will also be providing you with icons and links for your site to connect to RUPrepared.

Presently we are making two WeatherBug "sticker" sizes available. Here they are for you to compare.

125 wide X 125 tall
120 wide X 600 tall

120X600-Note that on this size your reader has the option to input a new zip code to see a weather report from another area.
