The new professional basketball team in Charlotte doesn't have a prayer...literally. The NBA's Charlotte Bobcats are breaking with the civic tradition of a pre-game prayer. Although public prayers are rare at professional sporting events around the country, they've been a tradition in Charlotte, started by the city's first NBA team, The Hornets in 1988.
