There are some nervous young people on the main campus of The University of South Carolina in Columbia after a first year student was diagnosed with Bacterial Meningitis. Eugene Darby, 19, of Georgetown was admitted to a hospital in Columbia Monday. Students who may have had contact with Darby, such as those who live in his dorm, are being screened for the illness.
