First Lady Laura Bush will be in Columbia Friday. She'll speak at a noon hour fund-raising luncheon for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Jim Demint. It'll cost $1000 to hear Mrs. Bush speak. Demint faces Democrat Inez Tenenbaum, the state education superintendent, in November.
