The University of South Carolina is moving ahead with plans for a new $10 million baseball stadium. The 6000 seat facility would be built next to the Colonial Center in downtown Columbia. Columbia's minor league baseball team, the Capital City Bombers seem to be left out. Officials with the Bombers, the city of Columbia and USC had worked for some time on a joint-use stadium. That may mean the Bombers will move to another city at the end of this season.
