Dr. Stephen Olford, a former member of the Board of Directors of Columbia International University, passed away August 29 in Memphis, TN from a massive stroke. He was 86. Known as "A Preacher's Preacher," Olford was an evangelist, Baptist pastor, author and teacher. He was also a frequent chapel speaker at CIU in the 1980's and 1990's. A public memorial service will be held at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis on September 7 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
