Congratulations to Brian Jackson, 23, the worship leader at Pine Tree Hill Community Church in Camden. He won the Palmetto Idol Contest at Sumter Mall by singing "Who Am I" by the Contemporary Christian band Casting Crowns. Jackson is from Bishopville. Jackson says his song had people worshipping God right in the middle of the mall.

Among Jackson's prizes: A cruise to the Bahamas and three hours of studio recording time. One of the contest judges was South Carolina native Bill Pinkney from the 1950's group The Drifters.
