A water park sure sounds good to a lot of people on these hot days. Soon you'll be able to try out a new one in Columbia. A water park at Fort Jackson opens to the military on Friday. But next month Fort Jackson officials will experiment with opening it to the general public. The dates for general public use are August 2, 6, 9 and 16. The cost is $7.50 per person.
