| | Ten Commandments Goes On Tour | | 07/19/04 Email this story to a friend Alabama's Ten Commandments monument is coming out of the closet. It's been in storage ever since ousted Chief Justice Roy Moore was told by a federal judge to put it away. A veteran's group will take the monument on a three-month nationwide "God Bless America" tour. The president of American Veterans Standing for God and Country says they came up with the idea for the tour because the Ten Commandments are the foundation of American law. The first rally will be in Dayton, Tennessee July 31. | | |
