As the rainy start to spring continues across North Georgia, Lake Allatoona has already reached full summer pool elevation at 840 feet above mean sea level (MSL). On April 4, Lake Allatoona was at 841.01 feet above MSL.
"We reached that last weekend and that is ahead of schedule," said Chris Purvis, Park Ranger in charge of public awareness at Lake Allatoona.
