The Rome Braves are scheduled to announce the team’s opening-day roster this afternoon at roughly 3 p.m. The roster will be posted on www.romenews-tribune.com after it’s released.
Today’s announcement coincides with the end of spring training for the Rome club, which plays its season opener on April 9 in Charleston, S.C.
The R-Braves play their home opener on April 14 at State Mutual Stadium, with Javy Lopez scheduled to throw out the first pitch.
