Military museum in Fort Oglethorpe plans living history demonstrations Saturday
6th Cavalry Museum in Fort Oglethorpe will hold living history demonstrations and mini-boot camps on Saturday. Museum director Chris McKeever said the event will be of particular interest to students. The all-day event, which will also include a flags retirement ceremony at 10 a.m., will demonstrate soldiers, weapons and vehicles and a mini-boot camp every hour (weather permitting), from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the polo field in Barnhardt Circle.
