Three people were arrested late Wednesday and early Thursday on felony drug charges after they were stopped by Rome and Floyd County police, reports stated.
According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:
Linda Jo Tidmore, 45, of 1398 Abrams Road in Silver Creek, was arrested Wednesday around 10:20 p.m. and charged with felony possession of methamphetamines and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug related objects, driving under the influence of drugs and failure to maintain a lane after she was pulled over making a wide turn onto Doyle Road. Police reported they found drugs, along with digital scales and a glass pipe, in Tidmores car.
She was released Thursday on $10,950 bail.
Briones Marquis Thompson, 30, of a Chateau Drive apartment, was arrested on charges of felony possession of cocaine, felony possession with intent to distribute and felony possession of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school and housing project, as well as misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Thompson was pulled over early Thursday morning at East Ninth Street and Darlington Way with the drugs, and was taken into custody without incident, reports stated.
He was released Thursday on $36,150 bail.
Jeffery Dewayne Self, 35, of 107 Grove Ave. in Lindale, was charged with felony possession of crack cocaine and misdemeanor charges of obstruction of a police officer, giving a false name and forgery. Police stopped Self Wednesday evening on East 12th Street. Officers reported he ran away during the stop and resisted arrest. He was found with suspected crack cocaine and then used his brothers name and date of birth on a number of jail documents.
He remains in jail on $12,150 bail.
