Arrest reports: Cocaine, Meth and Battery; Impersonation Fraud reported

Cocaine arrest

A Rome man was arrested and remained in jail today after police say he had suspected cocaine in his possession.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Michael Jerome Goudelock, 26, of 1313 Dean Ave. in Rome, was arrested at Eagle Park around 7:15 p.m. Monday. Police say that he was observed gambling and was found with a quantity of suspected cocaine.

Goudelock was charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, felony possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of school, felony possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church and felony possession of cocaine within a 1,000 feet of a park. He was also charged with misdemeanor gambling.

Meth arrest

A Silver Creek woman was arrested on felony meth charges and remained in jail this morning without bail.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Stephanie Allison Moon, 23, of 522 Donahoo Road in Silver Creek, was charged with felony possession of meth, felony possession of meth with intent to distribute and misdemeanor drug related objects.

Police found Moon in possession of suspected meth in separate baggies, a glass pipe, a spoon with suspected meth residue and a set of digital scales late Monday.

Battery arrest

A Rome woman was arrested on felony charges Tuesday after police say she struck a victim in the face and left visible injuries.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Carmen Melinda Reed, 38, of 25 West Butler Street in Rome, was charged with two counts of cruelty to children and battery.

Reed reportedly pulled the complainant’s hair and struck her in the face in front of a child.

Fraud Impersonation reported

Police are investigating impersonation fraud of a vehicle tag, reports stated.

According to Rome Police reports:

A Chattanooga woman told police that the buyer of her 1991 Ford Thunderbird reportedly used her personal information to obtain a vehicle tag.

The complainant told police that the vehicle was sold to a Rome woman in Feb.
