| Man killed in weekend wreck in Cherokee |

A Fort Payne, Ala., man was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 35 in Cherokee County, Ala. this weekend. The accident occurred at approximately 6:12 p.m. three miles north of Cedar Bluff, Ala.
The driver, according to the state trooper report, was identified as Todd Ledford, 44, who was driving a 1994 Honda Accord.
Cherokee County Coroner Don Rogers said Ledford was pronounced dead at the scene. Reports indicated that Ledford was wearing his seat belt and that airbags in the vehicle did deploy.
