Mr. and Mrs. Stanley V. Dean of Silver Creek announce the engagement of their daughter Heather Leigh Dean to Keith Stephen Simon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen A. Simon of Woodstock.
Miss Dean is a 1993 graduate of Pepperell High School and is currently attending Georgia Highlands College. She is employed by AT&T in Kennesaw.
The bride‑elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Turner Brookshire and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Dean.
Simon is a 1992 graduate of Hastings High School in Hastings‑on‑Hudson, N.Y. He is self‑employed, co‑owner of Simon Courier and is also a member of the National Umpires Association.
The groom‑elect is the brother of Alfred Simon of Woodstock. He is the grandson of Marie Simon of Brooklyn, N.Y., the late Alfred N. Simon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Krasowsky.
The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Lindale. A reception will follow at the Rome Civic Center.
