An Armuchee woman remained in Critical condition Monday after she was airlifted via Lifesaver helicopter to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga following a four-wheeler wreck in Cedar Bluff, Ala., this weekend.
The wreck occurred around 4 p.m. Saturday on Cherokee County Road 80. According to reports, Areata Smith, 31, was seriously injured when she lost control of the ATV she was driving and flipped the vehicle.
Cedar Bluff Police Department, Gaylesville Fire Department and Alabama State Troopers responded.
