Bartow board to buy land for new Emerson Elem., sell old Pine Log school
Emerson Elementary students may one day go to school next door to where they will be headed after fifth grade. Bartow County School Board members at Tuesday's business session unanimously approved purchasing 42 acres of land from New Riverside Ochre Company along Old Alabama Road in Emerson. The plat is adjacent to South Central Middle School.
