A town hall meeting about children and youth has been planned for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at the Rome Senior Citizens Center on Riverside Parkway.
The event has been organized by Rep. Katie Dempsey, R-Rome.
Scheduled to attend are Carol Willis of Rome-Floyd Commission on Children and Youth; Judge Tim Pape; Ross Collins of the Department of Family and Children Services; Maj. Elaine Snow of the Rome Police Department; Gretta Wilson of Open Door Children’s Home; Ann White, Georgia State Board of Human Resources; Angie Robinson of Northwest Georgia Public Health; Lynn Bishop of Highland Rivers; Jenn Chandler of the Family Resource Center; and Randy Quick, chairman of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce.
