Jury finds Brooks not guilty of all counts in murder case The jury in Judge Shepherd Howell's courtroom deciding Jeffery Scott Brooks' fate in his murder trial needed just one vote Thursday to find him not guilty on all counts. Brooks had been charged with murder, vehicular homicide in the first degree and vehicular homicide in the second degree in connection with the death of Antonio Perez Hall Sr. on April 6, 2006. He had been accused of pulling his Ford F150 pickup truck into the path of Hall's Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle on Georgia 20 Spur at its intersection with Jim Knight Road.
