From Cartersville Daily Tribune News Cass High JROTC cadets giving Christmas to Disabled Veterans Hospital Just two days removed from Veterans Day and with Thanksgiving still two weeks away, the cadets of Cass High School's Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program Thursday were already in the Christmas spirit. Students in the program spent the morning stuffing shoeboxes with T-shirts, socks, crackers, candy, deodorant, shaving cream and more. The boxes were then gift-wrapped, ready to be delivered to Milledgeville, where 150 veterans at the Disabled Veterans Hospital will receive the gifts next month in time for Christmas.
