At 7 p.m. there were still long gas lines at the Kroger on Turner McCall Boulevard, the only station on the thoroughfare that still had fuel Saturday night.
Lines had formed outside of the gas station at the Kroger on Turner McCall, where Randall Greeson had just pulled up to wait in lines where other drivers had been waiting for up to 20 minutes to get to a pump.
"I've been to three other stations in town," Greeson said.
The BP on Shorter Avenue across from Darlington Lower School was also sporting long lines around 7 p.m. The Kangaroo next door was out of gas and empty.
Lines were also outside of the Market at Second Avenue this afternoon until they recently ran out of gas around 3 p.m.
The Marathon at Turner McCall Boulevard and East Eighth Avenue had a line stretching a block down Turner McCall with cars waiting for the pumps earlier in the day, but they too were without fuel by 7 p.m.
The following stations around town were out of gas so far today:
The East Rome Wal-Mart on U.S. 411 East
The Kangaroo at Five Points
K-Mart on Hicks Drive
The Kangaroo at Kingston Road and Wilshire Road, which has been out of gas since Monday.
The Store at Village Green, 102 Park Ave., Lindale
