A Lindale woman late Friday was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and other charges at Park Avenue and West First Street after police pulled her over for having her windows tinted too darkly, reports stated.
According to police reports:
Brandy Nicole Marion, 25, of 130 Bowman Road in Lindale, was taken into custody after being pulled over for the window tint. When police checked her license, they found that it was suspended.
After that police placed her in handcuffs and searched her belongings, finding a single pill in her purse wrapped in cellophane.
Marion remained at the Floyd County Jail this morning with no bond waiting for her first appearance on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, drugs outside original container, driving with a suspended license and window tint.
Woman arrested for pipe, drug possession
A Rome woman remains in custody this morning on drug possession charges after it was found that she had alleged crack cocaine and a glass pipe on her person when she was stopped at Couper Street and Euclid Avenue, reports stated.
According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:
Debra Lynn Chopman, 48, of 314 Reynolds St., was found with a single small piece of alleged crack cocaine on her person and a clear glass pipe around 12:40 a.m. this morning.
Police did not report what she was doing in the area at the time, and she remained in the Floyd County Jail this morning on charges of felony possession of crack cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug related objects.
