NBCS receives $500,000 grant for building
The North Bartow Community Services' building, located at 2397 Hall Station Road, Adairsville, is bursting at the seams. When free meals are served, the dining room overflows with people. Some have to sit in the lobby or stand and wait. The thrift shop, which funds 30 percent of the budget, has barley enough room to sort and display items resulting in potential lost income. Some boxes of non-perishable food are stored in the director's office and thrift shop merchandise spills out into the lobby and front porch.
