Tim and Jan Dudley of Lindale announce the engagement of their daughter Brittany Amanda Dudley to Therron La’Vell Hughes, son of the Rev. Macie B. King of Augusta and the late Lewis Dean Crossland.
Miss Dudley is a 1998 graduate of Pepperell High School and is currently attending Coosa Valley Technical College pursuing a diploma in practical nursing.
The bride-elect is the mother of Brinley Savanah Green, Aysia Symone Day and Laethan Noble Day. She is the sister of Brian Dudley of Lindale. She is the granddaughter of Evelyn Beall, Charlotte Proctor, both of Rome, the late Noble Beall and the late John Proctor.
Hughes is a 1994 graduate of Cedartown High School and is pursuing a degree in vascular technology.
The groom-elect is the father of DaNeisha La’Vell Hughes of Cedartown. He is the brother of Dameon Hughes of Rome. He is the grandson of Mayor Saul Beck and Delouis Elaine Beck of Ford Heights, Ill.
The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Augusta.
